These are not your typical flimsy trim removal tools. These tools were designed by a mechanical engineer with 13 years experience as a master certified ASE technician. They are durable, rigid, and non-marring (when used correctly). I started with the persuader, which was designed to remove vents and other items from leather dashboards. The tools have many uses in many different industries. I've found that they are particularly useful removing food from pots and pans after cooking and disassembling legos.
Pocket Pry
This tool serves two main purposes. It is a trim removal tool, and a stylus, with a pocket clip. Currently most technicians keep a pocket screw driver to remove items which can easily mark, scratch, or mar the part or surface of the item being removed. The curved tip of the tool allows the tool to be easily inserted in between a surface and part to be removed. The top of the tool has a stylus.
Popper
Clip removal tool, used to remove push clips, wire harness clips, and other types of round clips that may be holding upholstery or trim. Material of the tool has been specifically chosen for it’s strength, durability, and non-marring properties. The angle at the end of the tool acts as a fulcrum when removing items, giving the user added leverage. The slot allows the tool to easily separate the clip for the item it is holding, while the material of the tool aids in not marring or damaging the finish of the clip or the item. The tool has been designed with a smooth finish which aids in the tools use, creating less friction while trying to fit between tightly fit parts. The smooth finish also aids in being non-marring and easy to clean (using clean tools is important as this tool is predominately used on interior trim and upholstery, which could be leather). The light color allows the user to see dirt build up and consequently clean the tool as needed. Texture has been added around the body of the tool for better grip while using the tool.
Pursuader
Long curved trim/upholstery removal tool used to remove plastic, wood, metal, or leather items/parts that may be easily damaged during removal. Material of the tool has been specifically chosen for it’s strength, durability, and non-marring properties. The length and curve of the tool allows the user to remove trim items in hard to reach places (i.e. defrost vents close to the windshield of a vehicle). The curve also acts as a fulcrum when removing items, giving the user added leverage. The tool may also be pushed in between the item and surface to separate it (like a wedge). The tool has been designed with a smooth finish which aids in the tools use, creating less friction while trying to fit between tightly fit parts. The smooth finish also aids in being non marring and easy to clean (using clean tools is important as this tool is predominately used on interior trim and upholstery, which could be leather). This tool is especially useful when installing body seals, as the tool can guide the lip of the seal along the body without damaging the body work or the seal. The light color allows the user to see dirt build up and consequently clean the tool as needed. Texture has been added on the rear of the tool for better grip while using the tool.
Pusher
Trim/upholstery removal tool used to remove plastic, wood, metal, or leather items/parts that may be easily damaged during removal. Material of the tool has been specifically chosen for it’s strength, durability, and non-marring properties. The angle at the end of the tool acts as a fulcrum when removing items, giving the user added leverage. This angle makes this tool perfect for removing items such as dashboard a/c vents which must be removed straight out of hole in the dashboard where they sit. The tool has been designed with a smooth finish which aids in the tools use, creating less friction while trying to fit between tightly fit parts. The smooth finish also aids in being non marring and easy to clean (using clean tools is important as this tool is predominately used on interior trim and upholstery, which could be leather). The light color allows the user to see dirt build up and consequently clean the tool as needed. Texture has been added around the body of the tool for better grip while using the tool.
